Rishikesh doesn’t have an airport of its own. The Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, about 18 km from Rishikesh, is the nearest air link to Rishikesh. It is well connected with all the major cities of India.
By Train
Rishikesh has a railway station of its own. However, most people prefer Haridwar, which is 06 km from Rishikesh, since not many direct trains halt at Rishikesh. Many trains connecting Haridwar with major cities of India, such as Delhi and Dehradun, ply on a daily basis. So, one can get down at Haridwar and take a cab, auto rickshaw or bus for reaching Rishikesh.
By Road
